More than 350000 Bashkiria residents have set self-prohibitions on loans

Residents of Bashkiria have set 351 thousand self-prohibitions on loans, and 14 thousand applications for lifting the ban. According to the United Credit Bureau (UCB), as of May 5 of this year, 10.3 million Russians have set a self-prohibition on loans.

The majority choose the format of a complete ban on loans - 9.35 million applications, or 91%. A ban on online issuance in banks and MFIs was set by 422 thousand Russians (4%). A complete ban on issuance in MFIs was preferred by 165 thousand people (2%). A complete ban on MFIs and online issuance in banks - 148 thousand citizens (1%). The remaining 2% of Russians chose other combinations of available types of self-prohibition.

Most often, people aged 35-45 resort to the procedure, accounting for 23% of the total number of self-prohibitions established. 21% are Russians aged 45 to 55, 20% are those aged 55-65, 16% are people over 65, 13% are 25-35 year olds, and 8% are under 25.

Since the service began, Russians have submitted 324 thousand applications to lift self-prohibitions. In other words, 3% of previously established restrictions on obtaining a loan were lifted. Young people under 25 most often resorted to the procedure for lifting self-prohibitions. Men and women aged 35 to 45 changed their position the least.

Moscow has become the leader in the number of requests to the service over the entire period of its operation. Citizens registered in the Russian capital have established 1.03 million self-prohibitions.

The top 10 regions by the number of self-prohibitions also included: Moscow Region — 698 thousand self-prohibitions, St. Petersburg — 478 thousand self-prohibitions, Bashkiria — 351 thousand self-prohibitions, Sverdlovsk Region — 318 thousand self-prohibitions, Krasnodar Region and Rostov Region — 294 thousand self-prohibitions each, Tatarstan — 272 thousand self-prohibitions, Chelyabinsk Region — 258 thousand self-prohibitions, and Nizhny Novgorod Region — 220 thousand self-prohibitions.
