In Ufa, the intersections of roads and tram tracks will be repaired using a new technology. This was announced by Konstantin Pappe, the head of the department for construction, repair of roads, and artificial structures of the Ufa administration.
According to him, a capital-intensive and complex project for reconstructing a tram crossing was implemented in the area of the Agrarian University. Here, they used Czech technology, which involves replacing the rails completely and creating a reliable joint with the adjacent roadway. Over the years, this method has proven effective.
Using a similar technology, all crossings on tram route No. 5 will be reconstructed, where Pesa trams delivered from Moscow are used, requiring high-quality rail tracks. Work will begin next year from Aksakov Street.
