Bashkiria Hit 7 regarding preferential mortgage lending
Bashkiria took 7th place in Russia regarding preferential mortgage lending in March, with 1,070 loans for 5.26 billion rubles. The Top 3 included Moscow — 3.38 thousand loans for 26.62 billion rubles, Moscow Region — 2.32 thousand loans for 16.45 billion rubles, and St. Petersburg — 1.84 thousand loans for 12.37 billion rubles.
According to the United Credit Bureau, in March, banks issued 35.45 thousand mortgage loans with state support for 197.00 billion rubles. The share of preferential mortgages accounted for 68% of the total number and 86% of the total volume of loans issued for home purchases. In annual terms, the number of issues decreased by 44%, and the volume by 41%. In March 2024, 63.26 thousand preferential mortgage loans were issued for 334.85 billion rubles. Their share was 58% of the total number and 70% of the total volume of all mortgage loans.
