The most crucial task in modern conditions is the development of relations with friendly countries. Today, Bashkiria maintains international and trade relations with 103 countries. The republic's foreign trade turnover increased by 6.4%, while exports increased by 4.2%. The development of foreign economic ties was discussed at a meeting of the government of Bashkiria.
Bashkiria's representative offices at Russia's trade missions in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey facilitate the development of foreign economic relations. In 2024, trade turnover with these countries exceeded half of the republic's foreign trade turnover.
Bashkiria effectively implements measures to support exporting companies. The effective use of existing tools allowed the region to increase the volume of non-resource, non-energy exports by 0.3%, which amounted to 55.9% of the total. This is a serious step towards the goal set by 2030 as part of implementing the national project "International Cooperation and Export." It is expected to ensure real growth of non-raw material non-energy goods by at least 2/3 compared to 2023.
