From January to March 2025, the region’s agricultural producers delivered 138.77 tons of grain and cereals to the domestic market.
“The volume of grain and its processed products shipped to the Russian domestic market in the first quarter of this year is more than twice the data for the same period in 2024. The geography of grain product deliveries has also expanded from 16 to 18 regions,” the supervisory agency noted.
To Krasnodar, Perm, and Stavropol Krais, as well as to Belgorod, Leningrad, Kursk, Moscow, Orenburg, Pskov, Saratov, Rostov, Tambov, Tver, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl Regions, to Karelia, Tatarstan and Udmurtia 79.93 thousand tons of wheat, 46.88 thousand tons of barley, 4.11 thousand tons of peas, more than 3 thousand tons of rye, 2.45 thousand tons of sunflower seeds for processing, over 1 thousand tons of flax and 0.39 thousand tons of cereals.
Samples of grain and its processed products underwent entomological, herbological, and mycological studies in the Bashkir testing laboratory, which is subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor. The results of phytosanitary examinations did not identify dangerous quarantine organisms or pests of grain reserves.
