At a meeting of the regional government chaired by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov, the issue of providing a single subsidy for tourism development in the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2025 was discussed.
"Bashkortostan annually attracts federal funds to develop the tourism industry within the framework of this mechanism. This year, its amount for our republic increased by 36% and exceeded 226 million rubles," Andrey Nazarov noted.
Since 2024, grants have been provided to entities of the tourism industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the involvement of federal funds within the framework of the Single Subsidy, which is aimed at achieving the leading indicator "Number of tourist trips" of the state program "Tourism Development."
"This year, we plan to primarily direct budget funds to the creation of infrastructure facilities along rafting and automobile routes, as well as the implementation of investment projects in the territory of geoparks. All these activities will be carried out following the Strategy for the Development of Tourism in the region. Tourism development will be carried out comprehensively and systematically, considering long-term goals and objectives,” commented Zukhra Gordienko, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Within the framework of the Unified Subsidy in 2025, it is planned to support at least 37 projects for the development of tourism infrastructure (camping sites, beaches, tourist equipment, swimming pools, tourist routes, projects for people with disabilities), to equip city tourist centers, and to hold large-scale events.
All projects for the development of tourism infrastructure are investment projects. Grants make up no more than 50% of the project cost, and investors' funds—at least 50%.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the regional cabinet recommended that tourism and hospitality issues be constantly in the spotlight.
