Bashkiria has tripled agricultural exports in 5 years

In 2024, Bashkiria exported 666.3 thousand tons of agricultural products worth more than 348 thousand US dollars, 6.7% more than the previous year. The press service of the Government of the Republic of Bashkiria reported that since implementing the national project "International Cooperation and Export" in 2019, Bashkiria's agricultural exports have grown more than threefold.

In 2025, Bashkiria will continue to supply agricultural products to foreign markets. Thus, they discussed the prospects for exporting agricultural products to Islamic countries at the Agro-Industrial Forum in Ufa. In particular, this concerns halal products.

In Bashkiria, the halal industry is actively developing; a representative office of the Roskachestvo Competence Center in the field of Halal products and services has been created in the republic. Shortly, producers from the republic will be able to supply products to Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf countries. New opportunities in this direction are opened by certification by the standards of importing countries. Bashkiria has received the appropriate accreditation in the UAE, has permission to supply dairy products to Algeria, and is accredited in Pakistan, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait. It is planned to enter the markets of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Egypt, Turkey, and Morocco.
