In February 2025, Bashkiria residents received 2,287 car loans—227 fewer than the previous month and 33 fewer than in January 2024.
However, in February of last year, there was an explosive (almost double compared to the year) growth - residents took out nearly 4 thousand car loans in anticipation of an increase in the recycling fee from April 1.
However, high rates did their job, and car loans are noticeably declining. This also affected the volumes: 2.87 billion rubles in January and 2.66 billion rubles in February (-7%).
The average bill increased by 20 thousand rubles to 1.16 million rubles.
According to the United Credit Bureau, the average loan term exceeded 5 years in 2023 and is now 5 years and 9 months.
