In January-February 2025, Bashkiria agricultural enterprises purchased equipment worth 1.5 billion rubles — spending 700 million rubles more than in the same period in 2024.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkiria reported that farmers purchased 49 tractors of various traction classes, 5 combines, 39 units of tillage and seeding machines, and other types of equipment.
“Farmers are actively preparing for the sowing campaign. Equipment repairs are in full swing in workshops. At the same time, the pace of acquisition of new machines and units is not slowing down. There will be a sufficient number to allow not to delay field work and reduce the load on equipment,” the department commented.
The region has a program that subsidizes up to 50% of the costs of purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment. In 2024, 1 billion rubles were allocated from the regional budget to reimburse expenses, and the annual volume of purchases amounted to 12.3 billion rubles.
