Radiy Khabirov called 2024 successful year for Bashkiria

The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, said in an interview with Interfax that 2024 was quite a successful year for the republic. Despite the sanctions, the region has maintained macroeconomic and social stability and continued its progressive development.

“We have set ambitious goals to attract investment in the republic's economy. Our potential investors can be sure that Bashkortostan is one of Russia's most attractive and effective investment regions,” said Radiy Khabirov, noting the high indicators in the investment sphere.

For nine months of 2024, the volume of investments in fixed assets reached 462.5 billion rubles with an increase of 24.7%.

Today, Bashkortostan is among the country's top 10 regions regarding housing commissioning, retail turnover, and agricultural production volume.

The industrial production index 2024 was 105.4%, higher than the Russian average. Last year's main driver in industry was the manufacturing sector, which grew by 8.1%.

As Radiy Khabirov reported, the region is consistently modernizing the agro-industrial complex. Thanks to this, Bashkir farmers, despite abnormal weather conditions, produced goods worth 251.7 billion rubles with an increase of 0.8%.
