Federal tranches accounted for 25% of Bashkortostan's budget revenues

In 2024, Bashkortostan attracted federal funds more than other constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The share of gratuitous receipts from the federal treasury amounted to a quarter of all republican budget revenues, or 73.6 billion rubles.

“According to last year's results, the share of gratuitous receipts amounted to 25.2% versus 18.6% on average in the country. Our neighbors have a lower level of such co-financing: Nizhny Novgorod Region - 17%, Tatarstan - 16%. In the corresponding federal rating, Bashkortostan ranks 11th among the regions of the Volga region - 2nd position,” said Andrey Nazarov, head of the Bashkortostan government.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan, 77 applications were submitted from the region in 2024, almost 70% of which were supported. 52 applications were approved.

The percentage of allocated funds used was over 99%, and budget constraints were one of the main reasons for rejecting applications.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan Airat Fakhretdinov said that the region submitted 54 applications for 47.7 billion rubles in the first two months of the year, and 40 applications have already been approved. He noted that the region has built an effective system for attracting and using federal funding.
