State support for business in Bashkortostan exceeded 1 billion rubles in 2024

State support for business in Bashkortostan by the end of 2024 amounted to 1.008 billion rubles. Only within the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative," 436.2 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget and 8.9 million from the regional budget. State support for entrepreneurs from the regional budget amounted to 477.1 million rubles, and local budgets allocated another 94.8 million rubles. This was reported by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Bashkortostan, Zukhra Gordiyenko, at an operational meeting of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The result of the support measures provided to entrepreneurs was an increase in the number of people employed in the SME sector. Their number exceeded the plan by 20% and amounted to 593.3 thousand people. The number of SMEs in Bashkiria amounted to about 142 thousand. The number of self-employed people increased by 43%, now almost 263 thousand. Bashkiria is one of the leaders in the development of social entrepreneurship. According to the results 2024, the number of social enterprises increased to 618. The republic is in second place in the Russian Federation for this indicator. The amount of tax revenues in 2024, compared to the year before, increased by 38.4% and amounted to 22 billion rubles.
