National project "Education" amounted to 23 billion rubles in Bashkiria

Over the six years of their implementation in Bashkiria, regional programs of the national project "Education" were financed with 23 billion rubles. Of these, 15 billion rubles were attracted from the federal budget—this is fifth in attracting federal funds among all national projects implemented in the republic and second in the Volga Federal District.

Thanks to the "Modern School" project, 30 schools with 16,846 student places were opened in the region, including nine combined with kindergartens. Bashkiria is the country's leader in the number of schools and kindergartens built.

Since 2022, 49 teachers who moved to work in villages or cities with a population of up to 50,000 people have received one-time payments.

As part of the Digital Educational Environment project, 11 IT-cube digital education centers for children were created in Bashkiria from 2019 to 2024, and a digital educational environment was introduced in 689 educational organizations. The centers operate in Beloretsk, Ishimbay, Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, Salavat, Sterlitamak, Ufa, Tuymazy, and Sibay. Each network center is designed to continue the education of more than 400 children.

As part of the Success of Every Child project, gyms in 258 rural schools were renovated, 30 school sports grounds were equipped with equipment and inventory, 27,937 new places for additional education for children were created, 2 Quantorium mobile technology parks were created based on the Republican Children's Educational Technology Park. A center for identifying and supporting gifted children, Aurora, was made, and the activities were aimed at the early identification, development, and further professional support of talented children. As part of the Patriotic Education project, 1,325 state and municipal schools have been equipped with state symbols. Bashkortostan ranks first in the Volga Federal District in the number of general education organizations that provide activities of directors' advisors on education and interaction with children's public associations.

As part of the Young Professionals project, 79 workshops were equipped with modern materials and technical bases. The Republic had the fifth-most specialized seminars in the Russian Federation.

Bashkortostan became one of the first regions to create an advanced professional training center (APTC) in Ufa in 2020. In 2024, a second industry center for the mining industry was developed based on the Uchaly College of Mining Industry. To create conditions for continuous updating and expansion of professional knowledge of teachers throughout their teaching career, thanks to the project "Teacher of the Future," a center for continuous improvement of professional skills of teachers was created at the Ufa Multidisciplinary Professional College and a center for assessing the professional skills and qualifications of teachers.

Two more regional projects were implemented through the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Youth Policy - "Social Activity" and "Youth of Russia": the first on attracting volunteers (exceeded by 3%), and the renovation of youth policy institutions (3 modern youth spaces were created in the cities of Ufa, Uchaly, and Neftekamsk).
