The average monthly nominal accrued salary of employees for the period is determined by dividing the accrued wage fund by the average employee headcount and the number of months in the period.
Accrued salary includes taxes and deductions from the employee. Social benefits received by employees from state and non-state extra-budgetary funds are not included in the wage fund and average monthly salary.
The actual wage index characterizes the change in the purchasing power of wages due to changes in prices for consumer goods and services. It is calculated by dividing the nominal wage index by the consumer price index.
