From January 9 to January 31 of this year, Bashkiria's agro-industrial complex enterprises exported more than 2.5 thousand tons of grain processing products, more than three times the amount exported in January 2024. The region shipped 2,427 tons of flour, 88 tons of cereals, and 22 tons of malt to Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
The Bashkir testing laboratory, subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor, tested flour, cereal, and malt samples from 55 batches.
"Based on the results of the examinations, no dangerous quarantine organisms or pests of grain reserves were detected; the grain processing products meet the requirements of the importing countries," the supervisory agency noted.
In January last year, the territorial office of Rosselkhoznadzor inspected 0.812 thousand tons of processed grain products when exported to Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Bashkiria exported more than 30 thousand tons of grain and its processed products to 15 countries in January 2025.
