Republican Ministry of Agriculture reported what equipment farmers bought in 2024

The Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan reported that last year, Bashkortostan agro-industrial complex enterprises purchased agricultural equipment for 12.3 billion rubles. Almost 500 tillage and seeding machines and nearly 400 tractors were purchased.

Combine harvesters - 181 grain harvesters and 55 forage harvesters.

The Ministry of Agriculture noted that agricultural equipment purchases have doubled over the past five years. Since 2019, farmers have purchased more than 18 thousand units of machinery and equipment worth about 64 billion rubles.

“A sufficient amount of equipment is, one might say, the foundation of the future harvest. As a rule, the sowing “windows” in the republic are short, so it is important how efficient and modern the equipment will be during this time,” commented Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

Bashkir farmers can use state support to purchase equipment: the regional budget reimburses up to 50% of the costs. In 2024, 1 billion rubles in subsidies were allocated for these purposes, and over the past six years, the amount has amounted to 8.2 billion rubles.
