Bashkiria exported first batch of animal feed to Europe in 2025
Bashkiria exported the first batch of animal feed to Europe this year. The regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor inspected more than 2,600 tons of granulated sunflower meal prepared by the most significant oil extraction company from the village of Chishmy for export to Latvia.
The high-protein valuable feed additive for farm animals and poultry, shipped in 37 railway cars, underwent the necessary inspection. Samples of processed sunflower seeds, selected from each of the 37 batches, were tested in a testing laboratory subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor.
“No harmful organisms were detected based on the test results. Granulated sunflower meal meets EU requirements. The train with granulated sunflower meal departed for Latvia,” the supervisory agency noted.
