Bashkiria exported the first batch of food barley to China in 2025. An agricultural enterprise in the Abzelilovsky district shipped 1,817 tons of barley for export, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic of Bashkiria reported.
Samples were taken from all 70 batches of grain for phytosanitary examination. The samples were subjected to entomological, herbological, mycological and helminthological examinations in the Bashkir Testing Laboratory subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor.
"Based on the test results, no harmful quarantine organisms were detected; Bashkir barley meets the phytosanitary safety requirements of the importing country," the supervisory agency noted.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that farmers in the Abzelilovsky and Dyurtyulinsky districts of Bashkiria exported 3,909 tons of food flax to China.
Let us recall that within the framework of the national goal of “Effective work and successful entrepreneurship,” the national project “International Cooperation and Export” is being implemented. Its goal is to ensure by 2030 real growth in the export of non-resource, non-energy goods by at least 70 percent compared to 2020, Bashinform reported.
