SMBs in Bashkiria have increased by 12%
The government of the Republic of Bashkiria reported that the number of small and medium-sized businesses in Bashkiria has increased by 12% over the past 6 years. Today, there are almost 142 thousand of them, thanks to which the republic is among the top ten regions of Russia in terms of the number of SMBs and also ranks second in the Volga Federal District.
As the government of Bashkiria noted, from 2019 to 2024, the republic's entrepreneurs received 4.7 billion rubles in state support for preferential lending, subsidies, and professional consultations under the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives."
Tax revenues from SMBs and the self-employed to the consolidated budget of the Republic of Bashkiria last year amounted to 22 billion rubles, and the number of people employed in this area reached 593.3 thousand.
