Industrial milk production is increasing in Bashkiria
51 thousand tons of milk have been produced in Bashkiria since the beginning of the year. At the same time, the largest share - 41%, or 20.3 thousand tons, falls on five districts - Chekmagushevsky, Aurgazinsky, Ilishevsky, Dyurtyulinsky, and Sterlitamaksky.
The gross milk yield is 575 tons more than at the beginning of 2024.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkiria noted that three large dairy farms began operating in the region last year.
Since 2018, 21 industrial farms in Bashkiria have reached their design capacity. They currently produce about 42% of the country's milk.
In 2024, Bashkiria's enterprises and farms produced 786.3 thousand tons of milk, 1.6 percent more than in 2023.
