The National Bank of the Republic reported that in December 2024, annual inflation in Bashkiria rose to 8.9% after 8.2% in November. In the Volga Federal District, inflation was 9.5%.
Dairy and fermented milk products, beef, and turkey became more expensive in the food segment. Good demand allowed producers to raise prices, thereby recouping their costs for energy resources, equipment, and employee salaries.
At the end of the year, cars and large household appliances began to rise in price again, and in the service sector, price growth slowed - mainly because the cost of kindergartens and car services did not increase.
