Bashkiria increased export of sawn timber to Afghanistan
Afghanistan increased the volume of exports of sawn timber, as well as grain and its processed products from Bashkiria, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic of Bashkiria stated.
The day before, employees of the supervisory agency inspected 115 cubic meters of sawn timber from coniferous trees prepared by a Beloretsk enterprise for export to Afghanistan. Samples of wood products underwent laboratory examination.
“According to the results of entomological examinations, no quarantine pests were detected. The products were shipped to Afghanistan,” the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for Bashkiria concluded.
Earlier, Bashkiria shipped food flax to Afghanistan for the first time - a total of 529 tons. It was grown by farmers in the Meleuzovsky, Sterlitamaksky and Khaibullinsky districts.
