Bashkiria announces annual inflation rate

According to the results of 2024, the inflation rate in Bashkiria was 8.87%, which is 2% higher than the 2023 level. The Rosstat report provides such data. It also indicates that annual inflation in the Volga Federal District was 9.54%, and in Russia, it was 9.52%.

According to the latest data from the National Bank of the Republic of Bashkiria, annual inflation in the republic in November 2024 increased to 8.22%. Still, it remained lower than in the Volga Federal District (8.76%) and Russia (8.88%). The acceleration of inflation in our region was facilitated by the growth in costs of producers and suppliers and a reduction in the supply of particular food and non-food products.

The annual growth rate of food prices in November was 8.7%. The price increase occurred mainly due to a reduction in the supply of certain food products and an increase in the costs of food producers. According to Rosstat, price growth in Bashkiria in December 2024 was 0.98%. Food prices increased by 2.32%, and non-food products - by 0.98%.
