Central Bank has issued coin for Kayum Nasyri's 200th anniversary

The Central Bank of Russia has issued a new commemorative silver coin worth 2 rubles. The coin is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the scientist and educator Kayum Nasyri. The Bank of Russia's press service reports that it is part of the "Outstanding Personalities of Russia " series.

The silver coin worth 2 rubles (pure precious metal weight - 15.55 g, alloy fineness - 925) has a circle shape with a diameter of 33.0 mm. Along the circumference, a raised edge on the obverse and reverse sides of the coin exists. On the front side of the coin, there is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, there are inscriptions: "Russian Federation," "Bank of Russia," the denomination of the coin "2 rubles", the date "2025", the designation of the metal according to the periodic table of elements of Mendeleyev, the alloy sample, the trademark of the St. Petersburg Mint and the mass of precious metal in purity.

On the back side of the coin, relief images of Kayum Nasyri's portrait and a table with books against the background of a picture of bookshelves made using the laser matting technique are displayed. Relief inscriptions are also present: on the upper right, along the circumference, "Kayum Nasyri;" on the lower right, in two lines, "1825" and "1902." The coin's side surface is corrugated.

The circulation of the coin is 3 thousand pieces.
