Bashkiria outlines plans for export development until 2030

The regional program "Development of Exports of the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2025-2030" ("Alga for Export") is planned to be adopted in Bashkiria. The document was developed to implement the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 7, 2024, No. 309, "On the National Development Goals of the Russian Federation for the Period up to 2030 and for the Perspective Up to 2036", by the passport of the national project "International Cooperation and Export." The program is presented for public discussion on the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations website and Congress Activities of the Republic of Bashkiria.

The program provides several tasks to solve key challenges in developing export activities, including implementing investment projects in industry and the agro-industrial complex, creating new sales markets, supporting exporters, training them in project activities, and developing medical tourism. The program aims to increase the republic's non-resource, non-energy exports (NNE) to at least $3.6 billion by December 2030 and at least $4.3 billion by the end of 2036.

As part of the program, it is planned to open representative offices of Bashkiria at the Russian trade missions in the UAE, Iran, and African countries and create showrooms and trading houses of the region abroad. It is planned to allocate at least 50 million rubles annually to implement the program.
