Russians should consider new economic parameters in 2025 to improve the pension savings process, said State Duma deputy and member of the Budget and Taxes Committee Nikita Chaplin.
According to him, earnings will be an essential criterion: to receive one pension point, citizens must earn at least 275,900 rubles per year, equivalent to a monthly income of 22,991 rubles and 67 kopecks. The deputy noted that this indicator is key in forming future insurance pensions.
He says the more individual pension coefficients you accumulate during work, the greater your pension payments will be. Thus, for those who want to apply for an insurance pension in 2025, you need to earn at least 30 pension points for the entire period of your work. It should not be overlooked that significant periods for society, such as child care up to one and a half years and military service, can be included in the pension calculation. These periods are considered additional points that will help increase the size of the future pension.
Nikita Chaplin also explained that in the new year, the "price" of a pension point increased by almost 10 rubles to 142.76 rubles from the previous value of 133.05 rubles.
