Bashkiria increased meat production due to large complexes
The development of industrial poultry and pig farming has allowed an increase in meat production in Bashkiria. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkiria, 380 thousand tons were produced in January-November, which is 3.6% more than in 11 months of 2023. Poultry production for this period increased by 12%, pork - by 2%.
Bashkiria is a leading region in Russia in beef production. Today, 33 feedlots with a total capacity of about 28.8 thousand places operate in the republic. This year, a large site for 3 thousand heads appeared in the Karaidelsky district, and the construction of a feedlot for 800 heads in the Iglinsky district is ongoing.
As reported by Bashinform, the republic's agro-industrial complex produced products worth 250 billion rubles this year.
