Ufa has given forecast for socio-economic development for 2025

At the 46th meeting of the Ufa City Council, the deputies heard a socio-economic development forecast. It consisted of two blocks: a forecast for the municipality's growth in 2025, the planning periods of 2026 and 2027, and the long-term period until 2042.

The report was made by the deputy head of the Ufa administration, Agaragim Kagirgadzhiev. He said the forecast was developed based on statistical data for previous periods and economic and social trends. The estimates were compiled in two versions: conservative and basic. The basic version was adopted as the basis. Thus, in the medium term of 2025-2027, within the framework of the basic scenario, a gradual increase in the rate of shipped products of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises is expected from 101.6% to 103.5% in comparable prices and within 106.4%-106.6% in current prices.

In 2025-2027, trade turnover is projected to grow at 4.0 - 4.5%, comparable prices and catering at 3.0 - 3.5%.

The average annual population for both development options will grow from 2025 to 2042. By 2042, the city's population will reach 1 million 275 thousand people.

According to the fundamental development scenario in 2025, the volume of housing commissioned in the medium term is projected to be 1 million 20 thousand square meters, with subsequent growth to 1 million 30 thousand square meters by 2027. The total ​residential premises per capita area will exceed 41 square meters by 2042.

Note that the forecasts for Ufa's socio-economic development in the medium and long term are updated and adjusted annually, after which they are submitted to the city council's next meeting.
