

The press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor regional office reported that Bashkiria's flour, cereal, and bran exports increased by 50% in 2024.
From January 9 to December 9, 2024, the supervisory agency monitored almost 21 thousand tons of processed grain products prepared by the republic's agricultural enterprises for export to the EU, EAEU, CIS, Georgia, and Turkey—more than 10 countries in total.
"The list of importing countries has expanded to 10 this year. The volume of flour and cereal exports increased by almost 8 thousand tons. Samples taken by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists underwent laboratory testing. According to the results of the examinations, no harmful quarantine organisms or pests of grain reserves were identified. Flour, bran, cereals meet the requirements of importing countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belgium, Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan," the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for Bashkiria emphasized.
For comparison, during the same period in 2023, Bashkiria exported about 13.3 thousand tons of processed grain products to eight countries.
As Bashinform reported, Bashkiria exported more than 400 tons of wheat flour to Turkmenistan last week.
Recall that the national project "International Cooperation and Export" is being implemented. Its goal is to ensure by 2030 real growth in the export of non-resource non-energy goods by at least 70 percent compared to 2020, Bashinform reported.
