In Bashkiria, the average monthly nominal accrued salary for January-September 2024 was 64,791 rubles, and in the third quarter, it was 66,636 rubles. This is 17.7 percent and 15.4 percent more than for the same periods last year, Bashstat reported.
At the same time, real accrued wages increased in the region by 9.1 and 6.3 percent, respectively.
Employees' average monthly nominal accrued wages for the period are determined based on the accrued wage fund divided by the average number of employees and the number of months in the period.
Accrued wages include taxes and deductions from the employee. Social benefits received by employees from state and non-state extra-budgetary funds are not included in the wage fund and average monthly salary. The real wage index characterizes the change in the purchasing power of wages due to changes in prices for consumer goods and services. It is calculated by dividing the nominal wage index by the consumer price index.
