Yalta International Economic Forum to be held in Ufa in December

According to the website yalta-forum.com, the VI Yalta International Economic Forum will be held on December 5, 2024, in the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Initially held in Crimea, this large-scale economic forum will be moved to Ufa in 2024 as part of the international business week. The capital of Bashkortostan is one of Russia's most economically progressive regions. It will be an excellent venue for the forum since Ufa has won the title of the center of attraction for international events.

The Wrestling Palace, the largest sports facility in Europe, built in honor of the 450th anniversary of Ufa, has been chosen as the venue for the forum. It was built for all athletes, including ordinary boys and girls, who want to play sports in comfortable conditions. The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, promised that, traditionally for the republic, the YIEF will be held at the highest level. "The Yalta International Economic Forum is one of the largest congress events in our country. This year, it is hosted by Ufa, located at the junction of Europe and Asia. We expect many guests from 90 countries during the annual International Business Week in early December. I am confident that the representative pool of experts and the relevant agenda of the forum will allow us to exchange successful work experience, form new partnerships, and offer interesting solutions for the domestic economy, including in the context of our international interests," said Radiy Khabirov. The Yalta International Economic Forum is an international business event in the economic sphere held since 2015 in Crimea. YIEF is one of the four largest economic forums in Russia. The first forum, held nine years ago, was attended by more than 600 people from 13 countries: Russia, Italy, Slovenia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Japan, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Greece, Kazakhstan, Israel, India, and Serbia. In subsequent years, the event developed dynamically, responding to the challenges of the time. At the YIEF held in 2019, participants exceeded 4.5 thousand people from 89 countries. As a result of the forum, more than 102 agreements worth 215 billion rubles were concluded, creating 1,700 jobs.

Representatives of 35 countries have already announced their participation in the in-person format, which will exceed 90 countries. Representatives of 81 countries, including Latin American and Caribbean states, are ready to join in the online format.
