Bashkiria will supply kumys to Kazakhstan

A Bashkir agricultural enterprise will supply 60 tons of kumys products per month to Kazakhstan. The regional company signed an agreement at the XX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan.

“Bashkiria is among the leading regions in Russia in terms of horse population, there are almost 130 thousand of them in the region,” says Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. “Therefore, the republic has great potential for the production of mare's milk and products from it. Our enterprises are ready to increase the supply of such a product both in the regions of Russia and abroad.”

On the sidelines of the XX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, business meetings of enterprises from 11 regions of Russia, as well as 119 foreign companies from various sectors of the economy, were held. More than 300 participants were registered on the Business Contacts Exchange of the Russian-Kazakhstan forum. Earlier, Bashinform reported that Radiy Khabirov emphasized the role of Kazakhstan in Bashkiria's economy. Within the framework of the national project the goal is to ensure by 2030 a real growth in the export of non-raw material non-energy goods by at least 70 percent compared to 2020, Bashinform reported.
