Bashkiria should break its investment volume record in 2024

Considering the active development of vacated niches by Bashkiria enterprises, the implementation of large infrastructure projects, and import substitution programs, the investment assessment for 2024 is set with growth to 712 billion rubles. This was announced the day before by the Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkiria, Rustam Muratov, who presented to the State Assembly deputies the forecast for the region's socio-economic development for 2025 and the planning period of 2026 and 2027.

In 2023, the volume of investments in Bashkiria reached a historical maximum, exceeding 620 billion rubles. Since 2019, their share in the gross regional product has increased from 15 to 26%. Over five years, we increased investments by one and a half times, with a total volume of 2.3 trillion rubles. In Russia and the Volga Federal District, they increased by less than a third. The Republic has been developing at a rate that is almost twice as fast as the Russian average.

The Republic's investment portfolio currently contains 2.3 thousand projects with a total investment volume of about 1.3 trillion rubles.

"We are constantly monitoring the investment "well-being" of key systemically important organizations in Bashkiria. Based on the data from enterprises, we can state that the high investment activity of businesses is maintained. By the end of 2027, the dynamics are set at rates exceeding the GRP of 104.5%, with a volume of 950 billion rubles," Rustam Muratov added.

The positive dynamics in the sectors of the Bashkiria economy make it possible to form positive expectations for the gross regional product by the end of 2024, with an increase of 4.7%. In value terms, this will amount to 2.8 trillion rubles. The industrial production index by the end of the year is estimated at 105%.
