Deputies voted to increase land tax in Ufa

In Ufa, city council deputies approved an increase in land tax. From 2025, it will increase from 0.18% to 0.2% of the cadastral value of land plots occupied by housing stock and engineering infrastructure facilities or acquired for housing construction. At the same time, land plots that are part of the common property of an apartment building are not recognized as an object of taxation.

The rate will gradually increase over the next four years: in 2026 - 0.22%, in 2027 - 0.242%, in 2028 - 0.266%, starting in 2029 - 0.3% of the cadastral value of the land plot. As Bashinform News Agency previously wrote, citing Rustem Akbashev, head of the financial department of the Ufa administration, the estimated amount of additional land tax revenue from the rate increase in 2025 will be 8.5 million, in 2026 - 8.9 million, in 2027 - 9.8 million, in 2028 - 10.8 million, in 2029 - 13.3 million rubles.

In addition, the tax rate is set at 1.5% for plots with a cadastral value of 300 million rubles. Previously, this category of land was not separately identified for taxation. Federal legislation gives municipalities the right to set such a rate.
