Pensions to be indexed in Russia from January 1, 2025

The draft federal budget for 2025-2027 allocates almost 11 trillion rubles to pay insurance pensions. Of this amount, 700 billion rubles are provided for their indexation, the Russian Ministry of Finance reported.

According to the Ministry of Finance, from January 1, 2025, pensions for working and non-working pensioners will be indexed at the inflation rate. The Ministry of Economy expects it to be up to 7.3%. The average old-age insurance pension for non-working pensioners is about 24 thousand rubles.
