In Bashkiria, lending volumes decreased by 28% in a month

In October, the number of all loans received by residents of Bashkiria decreased by 22% compared to September, and their total volume decreased by almost a third (-28%).
According to the United Credit Bureau, residents of the republic received 150.16 thousand loans worth 37.77 billion rubles in September. In October, 116.9 thousand loans worth 27.32 billion rubles were issued in the region.
Nevertheless, in terms of lending activity, Bashkiria continues to be a leader among the 50 most economically active regions — the republic is in 7th place on the list.
In general, mortgages account for the largest share of the borrowed funds market in the country — 30%. The share of consumer loans was 29%, credit cards — 24%, car loans — 13%, POS loans (at the checkout counter in stores) — 3%.
A year earlier, the largest share also belonged to mortgages — 45%. The consumer loan segment occupied a market share of 30%. The share of credit cards was 15%, car loans — 7%, POS loans — 2%.
The issuance of consumer loans in October in Bashkiria decreased by 26% compared to September. During the same period, the issuance of mortgages fell by 19%, car loans — by 34%.
