Bashkiria showed growth in social sphere and economy in 2024

In 2024, Bashkiria demonstrated confident growth in the leading indicators of socio-economic development. The acting First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Airat Fakhretdinov, announced this at a meeting of the State Assembly Committee.

The industrial production index in January-September 2024 compared to 2023 amounted to 104.7% in the republic. Retail turnover reached 1 billion 83 million rubles, an increase of 113.3%. Investments in fixed assets of the region in January-June reached 273 billion rubles, with a rise of 26.6%. The construction sector completed work for 314 billion rubles, increasing its indicators by 10%. 2 million 225 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in the republic. The average salary in January-August reached 64.5 thousand rubles, increasing by 17.6%, and the real disposable cash income of the population increased by 7.3%.

Unemployment in January-September was at a historically low level of 1.8% of the total number of non-disabled residents of Bashkiria.

It was previously reported that investment growth in Bashkiria was 26.6%.
