Bashkiria has given forecast for construction industry development

In 2024, the growth of the construction industry in Bashkiria is estimated at 9.1%. Next year, this figure will be more moderate - at the level of 2%, and in 2026-2027 it will be about 5%. The growth dynamics will be primarily due to the construction of infrastructure facilities. This was announced at a meeting of the State Assembly Committee by the acting First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkiria, Airat Fakhretdinov.

In residential construction, the volume of housing commissioning in 2024 is estimated at 3.4 million square meters, which generally corresponds to the figures for 2023. In 2025, the statistics will decrease slightly - to 3.1 million square meters, due to a slowdown in the start of new construction projects due to the cooling of the mortgage market. However, the volume of housing created during the period of preferential mortgages will make a certain margin of safety. In 2026-2027, the construction volume is expected to recover to 3.3-3.5 million square meters.

Airat Fakhretdinov noted that mechanisms to support the construction industry are being applied in Bashkiria. Two infrastructure projects are being implemented, ensuring the commissioning of 8 million square meters of housing. In Ufa, the territory of the Zabelye district is being prepared for residential construction, where 9 million square meters of real estate are planned to be built. 18 contracts for the integrated development of territories with a total urban development potential of more than 2 million square meters and an implementation period of up to 2032 have already been concluded.
