Tourist tax may be introduced in Ufa
The Ufa mayor's office is considering introducing a tourist tax in the capital of Bashkortostan, according to RBC Ufa, citing the city administration's press service.
According to the publication, the issue is under discussion - the economic effect of introducing such a measure is currently being assessed.
Bashinform reported that a tourist tax was proposed to be introduced in Kumertau on January 1, 2025. Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law introducing a tourist tax last summer. The tourist tax will be a local tax; its necessity and the rates of municipalities will be determined independently. The minimum level is set at 100 rubles.
