Average salary in Bashkiria named
According to Bashstat, the average monthly nominal accrued salary in Bashkiria for January-August 2024 exceeded 64,532 rubles, 17.6 percent more than in January-August last year.
In August 2024, the average salary in the region reached 66,754 rubles, 17.1 percent more than in August 2023. At the same time, the real accrued wage increased by 9 and 7.6 percent, respectively.
As Bashinform reported earlier, the average monthly nominal accrued salary of employees for the period is determined based on the accrued wage fund divided by the average headcount and the number of months in the period.
Accrued salary includes taxes and deductions from the employee. Social benefits received by employees from state and non-state extra-budgetary funds are not included in the wage fund and average monthly salary.
The real wage index characterizes the change in the purchasing power of wages due to changes in prices for consumer goods and services. It is calculated by dividing the nominal wage index by the consumer price index.
