Bashkiria produced 56 thousand tons of sugar
The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria reported that two sugar factories in Bashkiria process 11,000 tons of sugar beet every day. The enterprises prepared 583,900 tons of root crops, of which 409,900 tons were processed. Fifty-six thousand nine hundred tons of white sugar were produced.
Remember that sugar beet crops in the republic in 2024 amounted to 57 thousand hectares. The beet harvest is 92% complete, and 2 million 450 thousand tons of root crops have been dug up. The yield is almost 465 centners per hectare.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that Bashkiria plans to produce sugar in volumes 7 times exceeding the republic's needs.
