"The federal center supported us in our efforts to quickly and efficiently repair the republic's hydraulic structures. Bashkortostan was additionally allocated 45 million rubles for these purposes. In particular, these funds will help us reduce the time needed to reconstruct the structures of the Sakmara reservoir. Let me remind you that it is located in the Baimaksky district of the republic," - wrote Acting Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov on social media.
The reservoir regulates the flow of the Sakmara River. Its structures belong to class III and are included in the list of potentially dangerous hydraulic structures of Bashkortostan. Reconstructing the reservoir will prevent damage worth more than 360 million rubles.
"The facility is important, as it is located in the arid zone of the Bashkir Trans-Urals. It must be restored quickly and efficiently. Most of the work is financed from the republic's budget. We have set a two-year deadline and plan to complete the reconstruction in 2026. I would like to note that in 2024, bridges in some republic municipalities were damaged due to the spring flood and heavy rains. Fortunately, we managed to save our dams. Today, a project is being written to construct two capital bridges in the Baimaksky District. Preparations are underway to reconstruct the hydroelectric complex on the Khudolaz River in Sibay. By November, a long-term program for ensuring the safety of hydraulic structures will have been developed," - Andrey Nazarov emphasized.
