Bashkiria has prepared haylage above plan
In Bashkiria, the preparation of livestock feed is nearing completion. The provision of feed in the region amounted to 2.17 tons of feed units per conventional head or 89%. Despite unfavorable weather conditions during harvesting, the animals will be fed for the winter, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkiria noted.
Haylage has already been prepared over the plan - 111%, almost 1.24 million tons. Nearly 595 thousand tons of hay have been stored. Preparation of the latest type - silage - continues. To date, 640.7 thousand tons of fermented green mass have been laid.
The farmers of the Aurgazinsky, Ilishevsky, Tatyshlinsky, Dyurtyulinsky, Sterlitamaksky, and Chekmagushevsky districts laid the most silage for the winter—43 to 70 thousand tons in each district.
