Ufa authorities plan to repay loans early
In October and November of this year, the Ufa administration will have to repay bank loans attracted in 2019 and 2023 in the total amount of 1.4 billion rubles.
The city can attract loans from commercial organizations no more than the level of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation + 1%.
In the context of high interest rates, the city took measures to repay 250 million rubles early this year to avoid increasing the cost of debt servicing.
As reported by the Ufa mayor's office, one of the ways to attract financial resources to the budget, if necessary, is to issue municipal securities.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the Ufa administration was able to issue municipal securities. At the next city council meeting, the corresponding amendments were made to the regulation on the budget process.
