In Bashkiria, grain and leguminous crops have been mown on almost 80% of the area — 1.14 million hectares. This was reported by the head of the republican agro-industrial complex, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, at an operational government meeting. Gross threshing as of today is 2.5 million tons with an average yield of 2.2 tons/ha (in 2023 — 1.9 tons/ha).
93% of winter crops have been harvested. Their yield and harvest are higher than last year. Winter wheat is harvested at 3.1 tons/ha, and winter rye—1.8 tons/ha.
Spring grains have been threshed on 73% of the area, and 1.67 million tons have been harvested with an average yield of 2 tons/ha (in 2023 — 1.8 centners tonne).
Oilseeds (rapeseed, mustard, and flax) have been mown on 46 thousand hectares, about 10% of the total area (485.4 thousand hectares).
More than 72 thousand tons of oilseeds have been threshed, yielding 1.66 tons/hectare.
Harvesting the latest sunflower crop has begun, with 315 thousand hectares sown. Work has started in Kuyurgazinsky, Kushnarenkovsky, Kugarchinsky, and Sterlibashevsky districts.
