On the instructions of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Bashkiria, with the support of the Kuibyshev Railway, continues to work on the formation of the republic's suburban railway framework using modern electric trains—the second ES104 "Finist" train in a 5-car version has arrived in Bashkiria.
The second "Finist" train will allow the organization to move high-speed suburban trains of the "Eastern radius" on the Ufa-Beloretsk route without using another type of rolling stock on weekends and holidays.
In addition, two units of "Finist" electric trains will allow the organization to transport passengers in double trains (10 cars) on days of increased passenger traffic in the Beloretsk direction.
The first "Finist" set off on its journey in August 2024. On weekdays, the electric train runs within the Ufa urban agglomeration on the route "Dema - Shaksha - Dema"; on weekends and holidays, it serves the route "Ufa - Aygir - Beloretsk." "Finist" is a Russian direct current electric train that meets modern requirements in the field of ergonomics and safety. The train has everything necessary for a comfortable journey: climate control systems with air disinfection, video surveillance, and information boards. The cabin has comfortable seats with USB sockets for charging mobile devices.
