Birsk to get tourist code

Birsk will receive 40.4 million rubles as the competition winner for state support for programs to design a tourist code for the city center. The competitive selection was held within the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry."

19.6 million rubles of this amount were allocated from the federal budget, 400 thousand from the republican budget, 200 thousand from the municipal treasury, and 20.2 million rubles will come from extra-budgetary sources.

As reported by the acting Minister of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Bashkortostan Zukhra Gordiyenko, the project includes the arrangement of street navigation, the creation of a tourist information center, the installation of information stands and advertising and information structures, art objects, light installations, equipment of sites and venues for festive city fairs.

Last year, Ufa received a similar competition for creating a tourist code.

In 2023, within the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" framework, 215 million rubles were allocated to create a tourist code for Ufa. These funds were used to create navigation signs (signs, stands, plates), fair zones, event zones (yurts, stages, arches, pergolas, an outdoor cinema), observation platforms, illuminations, tourist information centers, art objects, photo zones, light installations, and improvement elements (toilets, granite pillars, hatches, service call desks).
