The National Bank of the Republic reports that in July, after the termination of the non-targeted preferential program in Bashkiria, the issuance of mortgages decreased by almost half. If almost 9.5 thousand contracts were registered in June, it would be less than 5 thousand in July.
Mortgage loans decreased by 2.4 times: 31.46 billion rubles in June and 12.9 billion rubles in July.
The volume of consumer loans also decreased, but not so noticeably - from 57 billion rubles in June to 52 billion rubles in July.
According to the United Credit Bureau, the share of preferential mortgages in July accounted for 42% of the total number of housing loans in the country and 57% of the total amount of issues.
At the end of July, the Central Bank raised the key rate to 18%, and the average mortgage rate outside the remaining preferential programs was 21% per annum.
