Bashkiria exported timber to 12 countries

From January to August of this year, enterprises in the timber processing complex of Bashkiria exported 50,215 cubic meters of lumber to 12 countries, according to data from the Rosselkhoznadzor of the Republic of Bashkiria. These are boards, beams, round timber, and furniture production. Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, the United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan purchased the products.

All lumber passed laboratory testing, which confirmed the absence of harmful organisms.

In the first eight months of last year, the export of timber products amounted to 75,245 cubic meters to 13 countries.

The country's authorities have set the task of ensuring real growth in the export of non-raw material and non-energy goods by at least 70% by 2030 compared to 2020. This is one of the goals of the national project "International Cooperation and Export."
