The Ministry of Housing and Community Amenities of Bashkiria reported that Zapadny Park in Bakaly has been improved thanks to the national project "Housing and Urban Environment."
"Zapadny Park is an attraction for residents of all ages. That is why one of the most important tasks of the municipality is the improvement and landscaping of the park and the implementation of new projects and ideas. In a word, to make it even more attractive," said Vladimir Semenov, head of the administration of the Bakalinsky rural settlement.
Repair work in the park began in 2020. Then, pedestrian paths and playgrounds were updated, video surveillance was installed, trash cans were placed, and benches were installed. At the same time, children's and sports grounds were arranged there, and trees were planted.
"This year, the last stage of improvement was completed. The remaining part of the territory was landscaped, 790 meters of fencing around the perimeter of the entire park were built, four entrances were equipped, and a factory-made indoor stage was installed,” the ministry added.
Over five years, 6.5 billion rubles of federal funds have been invested in improving public areas in Bashkiria. The total cost of the implemented projects amounted to 7 billion rubles. 683 regional public places, including many cities and villages, were improved during this time.
As Radiy Khabirov noted, he travels extensively around the republic, so he has something to compare with.
“Our cities and villages are being transformed, new parks, alleys, squares are appearing, our residents’ favorite recreation areas are getting a new lease of life,” Radiy Khabirov said.
National projects have been implemented, according to the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin, since 2019.
